Raga Bhinna Shadaj is an ancient Raga evolved from the Thaat Bilawal. Rhisabh (Re) and Pancham (Pa) are not allowed in this Raga. Rest of the notes are Shudha. The notes Madhyam (m) Shudha ma, and Shadaj (Sa) are the most important. If we Play the Madhyam (ma) as Teevra Ma (all open holes on flute), this raga will not be the same, it will become Raga Hindol. So we should be careful not to play the Teevra Ma while playing this raga.
